Vietti Barbera D’Asti ‘Tre Vigne’ 2004
August 21, 2008 | In WINE REVIEWS | No CommentsBless the fine folks at Vietti for producing this approachable, classy Barbera. Deep purple with a sweet nose of black fruit opening up with notes of cola and a bit of earthy loam. Cassis and chocolate dominate the palate nicely blending rusticity with sophistication, all with a nice long finish. Sure we’re always gazing longingly at those great Vietti Barolo’s and Barbaresco’s we have to wait for a special occasion to buy, now we can drink Vietti all the time.
